The Atlanta Braves, 101-61, first in the NL East, will face the Philadelphia Phillies, 87-75, third in the NL East.

Kyle Wright demonstrated two years following, recording only two hits in his most recent playoff start that he is now capable of delivering the Braves precisely what they require when they need it the most. Wright showed no fear as he led the Braves to a 3-0 victory over the Phillies in Game 2 of the National League Division Series on Wednesday night at Truist Park.

The reinvigorated pitcher pitched like a seasoned pro, helping Atlanta win what some may have considered a must-win game.

Philadelphia is 87-75 overall and 47-34 at home. The Phillies have 205 total home runs, which ranks them sixth in the majors.

Atlanta has an overall record of 101-61 and a road record of 46-35. When the Braves get more hits versus their opponents, they are 79-13. Current series record: 1-1.

Aaron Nola (11-13, 3.25 ERA) will handle the Phillies’ first home postseason game since Halladay’s Game 5 start in the 2011 NLDS. Nola has lately thrown effectively, pitching 6 2/3 shutout innings during Game 2 of the NL Wild Card Series against the Cardinals on Saturday.

Atlanta has confirmed that Spencer Strider will start Game 3 and journeyman Charlie Morton will start Game 4. Since his left oblique muscle began hurting him during one Sept. 18 start against Philadelphia, the much-touted rookie has only thrown once.
