Fine, Like Wine!

Montaluce, located in Dahlonega within the heart of Lumpkin County, is one of at least 77 wineries in the North Georgia mountains that offer wine tasting experiences.

The state of Georgia has approximately 106 bonded wineries.

Restaurants, lodging, and event space are available for weddings and other special occasions. Adventures such as guided hikes, fishing, live performances, and hay rides are also available. People from all across the country are exploring the North Georgia wine country.

According to the Georgia Wine Industry, the wineries have an economic impact of approximately $4.1 billion, including $1.4 billion in annual wages and $88 million in tourist expenditures. There are nearly 1,000 acres under cultivation and roughly 214,321 tourist visitors annually.

In 2022, 40 wineries and 8 tasting rooms will be part of the Wine Highway .

The industry will only grow and attract more attention as more people discover North Georgia wines and tastings. Below is a list of tastings that are highly recommended:
